The Images Dance Team is a competitive team made up of dedicated and talented young dancers who wish to represent our studio in a positive and spirited manner.

Our philosophy towards competition revolves around a simple concept: the thrill of performance. We try to instill in our dancers that the fun and thrill of performing is more important than the award itself.

Being on a competition team at Images Dance Studio requires dedication and sportsmanship. Not only do the dancers train all week, perform at several events, enter international competitions, become role models for the studio, they also build strong friendships.

The dancers are required to take ballet and technique classes to support their other forms of dance. They learn and perfect routines and then begin their competition season.

We watch with much pride as our dancers take the stage at each competition. With each step, smile and movement they are achieving our goal: the thrill of performing!

To be selected for the Images Dance Studio Team, dancers need to love to be on stage and perform in front of people. They display confidence, showmanship, work well with others, can learn choreography quickly and of course have technical dance experience. Images Dance Team performs at various events throughout the season, and are committed to attending each competition and event. Rehearsals and performances are mandatory.
